yes this is possible. But to access an Oracle data base you need a commercial license (compare the editions here://www.turtlecreekpls.com/products/comparison/). Reading from Hive is also possible with this edition (with the Hive connector available on the marketplace) , but if you want to write into Hive you need a Radoop license.
