I followed the instructions on the link
https://docs.www.turtlecreekpls.com/latest/studio/connect/cloud/twitter.html
to set up a twitter connection with Access Token in Studio 9.5, however, I can not re-produce the bug you described above.
Can you give a little more details on your failed process please?
